Christian Radio - it's for everyone

Today I have been sitting at my new desk in my office looking through files, photos and records - you know all the "I must get to that" stuff.  As I looked through the computer I saw photos of different LPON's that have been installed here on the Atherton Tablelands.  It's amazing how photos bring back memories isn't it?
Looking through the photos and notes I've taken, I remember conversations with people from each of these areas and our hopes for a "positive voice" to be surrounding the airwaves of these towns.  Each of these relay stations connect us to a larger 'family' around this great nation.

(Looking out from Bones Knob, Tolga - VRN station 87.8FM Tolga)

For me personally the positive message of hope that is transmitted 24/7 across the airwaves via Christian Radio is so special, and so needed.  The music, and programmes on life, faith, teaching, evangelism, family, world news is different to the secular radio world.  We hold in our hands a wonderful resource that is for everyone.
Having been apart of Christian Radio voluntary since 2002 I have spent many times seeking God on different issues from finding an appropriate site, to raising funds and speaking with people and groups about what we do and what we need.  Throughout it all, one verse has really stayed with me - Esther 4:14 " If at this time you say nothing, then help and salvation will come to the Jews from some other place, but you and your father's family will come to destruction: and who is to say that you have not come to the kingdom even for such a time as this?"  or simply put "...you were born for this time."

Yes, Christian Radio is for everyone.
