The Community Media Training Organisation

Excerpt from the CMTO site:

What is the CMTO?

The Community Media Training Organisation began operating in 2011 and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering accredited and non-accredited training to community broadcasters around Australia.
We have a commitment to helping people achieve their learning goals, in a fun and supportive educational environment. For volunteers at community radio and television stations across Australia, CMTO courses are subsidised by the Federal Government's National Training Program through the Community Broadcasting Foundation. To access a subsidised training place you should talk to your station supervisor or manager in the first instance about CMTO training. The CMTO will work with your station to establish courses for volunteers and staff.
Individual students can also directly enrol in a selection of courses which will be offered online. These will be available in the near future. If you are interested in our soon-to-be released OHS and Media Law online courses you can fill out an expression of interest form and we will contact you as soon as the courses go live. Once again, volunteers and staff at community stations will be eligible for subsidised places in courses.
The CMTO also offers training to groups and individuals who are not directly involved in Australia's Community Broadcasting sector. We can tailor courses to suit your needs at reasonable rates. You may want your staff to learn about podcasting, writing blogs or supporting social networks.
