I encourage you to take part of Stress Down Day! People need support and you can help!
Friday 27 July is Stress Down Day Dress to stress less!Excerpt From www.stressdown.org.au:
"Stress Down Day is a fun and easy way to reduce your stress levels while raising awareness and funds for Lifeline.
Whether you want to wear your Stress Down slippers all day, go to work in your pyjamas, or have a stress free morning tea, you can take time out from your busy lives to have fun, stress less and feel better - the choices are endless!
Everyday, Lifeline receives 1,250 calls from Australians in need of support. Sadly up to 50 of these calls are from people at high risk of suicide.
Our Crisis Support Chat is also available for people who prefer to seek help via a real time, one-on-one online conversation with a trained crisis supporter.
By taking part in Stress Down Day you will help us answer more calls, provide more one-on-one chat’s and help us to continue to save lives.
This year, we're encouraging all participants to fundraise or donate online - it's stress free for you and more cost effective for Lifeline.
Get involved today, buy a pair of slippers, organise a stress down day at your work or school and spread the word that less stress is best! "
