For low-income earners, apprentices and casual workers, having a budget that includes setting aside an amount to cover upcoming expenses can make payment of accounts and utility bills much less stressful.
If you have a young person in your household, please take the time to encourage them and assist them to complete their first budget. If you take the trouble to answer their questions and explain the importance of a budget, you are helping them for their future. Let's face it, for a young adult to purchase a house (or have a reasonable deposit to go to the bank/s), travel, or future life events.
