We must consciously choose to love what God loves and demonstrate this in our lives. Romans 12:9 says, "“Hate what is evil, cling to what is good.” When we choose to hate what God says is evil and to love what is good, we represent Him.

How can we live out a life that choose to love what God loves? One important way is to be part of a Bible reading, God believing, Holy Spirit filled church. That is, part of God's family. If you are not part of a family, then you are an orphan.
And there are lots of "orphans" in God's family because they choose to not connect with their brothers and sisters in Christ. They have chosen to be offended and unforgiving. This is easy to do. But Jesus told us to forgive. We live our best life when we are in community. That is in a family. Galations 2:6 says, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
We will be challenged when living in God's family - and that's good. We need to remain close to God and be encouraged by our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
