There are some days that you seem to 'slog' your way through and then other days that you say 'this has been a fantastic day!'
The 'slog' days - those days when you wonder why you even get out of bed are often the days when you have to step up and confront challenges.
But I look forward to those 'this has been a fantastic day!' These days are when you know why you do what you do. It could be in your job, in a voluntary role, in ministry, at home.
It doesn't matter how the day has unfolded we can know this if we know Jesus: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13
In difficult times and good times, we can be assured that if we know Christ, we are not on our own. We can accomplish much!
When we face those frustrating days - everything goes wrong times then we need to put our focus on who what truly matters.
“For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:32–33)
Turn to the One who can bear all our troubles and trust Him.
I am learning to re-focus everyday towards what matters. God knows what I need. And I trust Him to be with me through everything.
