This week I am reminded that what may be considered constant is not; the only constant in my life is the Lord.
So much can change in a blink of an eye; in a sentence; or a phone call. We actually don't control much in our lives except our attitude and how we choose to respond the challenges that are thrown at us.
So this week, I am thankful for the support of my husband and children; close friends who pray for me and encourage me. I am thankful for those who have willingly come alongside me and changed their plans to support me.
In our ever-changing, digital, up-to-the-minute world, where do you seek your anchor point? In the next few weeks what is "beneath the water line" of my life and I dare say many who stand up for God's way will be tested and brought to the surface. Security in jobs, money, buildings, things and yes, even people is temporary at best. But security in the One who know the very hairs of your head that are all numbered...(Luke 12:7) will be my anchor point.
What you are you thankful for in the ever-changing scenario we call life?
